This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we process it in compliance with our legal obligations. Your privacy is important to us and we are committed to protecting your data privacy rights. This policy may be updated from time to time.




For the purpose of data protection legislation inclusive of General Data Protection Regulation (“the GDPR”), the company responsible for your personal data is GBE Technologies registered in Ireland.

If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our Privacy Policy, you may have legal rights and, where relevant, we have set out these rights.

We store and process personal data relating to the following categories:

Job Applicants

You may have provided us with your CV including such personal data as your name, email, phone details, education and employment history etc. We store and process this data in accordance with Articles 12 to 23 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will confirm receipt of your CV and inform you of the duration we intend to hold it for and how it will be processed via reference to this policy statement.

We will not share your CV with other parties.

Your data will be stored on our secure IT systems and shared internally only on a business need basis related to HR operations. Alternatively, if the data is received in printed format we will store it is a secure filing system. We will hold onto your data for as long as there is a continued legitimate interest. If we feel that the role for which you originally applied or other suitable roles are unlikely to arise in the foreseeable future we will delete your data from our systems. Alternatively, if we intend to hold on to your data longer than 6 months we will contact you to seek your permission to retain the data.

The safety and security of your data is paramount to us. However, where a data breach occurs we will report this directly to the Data Commissioner and where there is substantial risk of adversely impacting your personal rights, the issue will be reported directly to you.

We are obliged to inform you that you are entitled to send amendments and updates of the data to us during the period we hold your data (GDPR Article 16 “The Right to Rectification”). You are entitled to request access to the data in accordance with Article 15 (GDPR – “Right of access by the data subject”). We will provide you with the data within one month of receipt of the request. We will provide the data in a format suitable for you to transfer or copy. Where the data request is deemed to be excessive we may decline the request and set out our reasons for same. Note that we will require suitable identification prior to issuing the data.

You have the right to request erasure of your personal data held by us bound by the following conditions in accordance with Article 17 (GDPR – “Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’).

  • the personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;
  • where there is no legal ground for the processing;
  • the personal data have been unlawfully processed;
  • the personal data has to be erased for compliance with a legal obligation in Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject;

If you are a customer of GBE Technologies, we need to collect and store personal data about you and your employees. This to carry out our day to day business activities with you and provide you with the service we are contractual obliged to.

We store and process this data in accordance with Articles 12 to 23 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your data will be stored on our secure IT systems and shared internally only on a business need basis. It will be processed for the purpose for which you provided it to us. This to carry out our day to day business activities with you and provide you with the service we are contractual obliged to.
